Fermenter is a kind of equipment used for microbial fermentation. It provides a suitable environment for the growth of microorganisms and the formation of metabolites.From the appearance,the fermenter is usually a closed container that comes in different shapes and sizes.
Its material is mostly Stainless steel, which can withstand certain pressure and corrosion resistance.Inside the fermenter, parameters such as temperature,pH and dissolved oxygen can be precisely controlled.
It can be used in a variety of fermentation processes,such as the fermentation of alcohol and yogurt in the food industry,and in the pharmaceutical field,it is also used in the production and fermentation of antibiotics and other drugs, and is one of the core equipment of the fermentation industry.
In addition,the fermenter is also equipped with a stirring system,cooling or heating devices,etc.,in order to better promote the fermentation reaction.

Working principle
The work of the fermenter is to create suitable conditions for microbial fermentation.
First, it provides precise control of temperature,pH and dissolved oxygen. Temperature is controlled by jacket or heating and cooling device,pH is stabilized by acid-base adding system, and oxygen is evenly distributed by ventilation equipment and agitation.
Secondly,the stirring system allows the fermentation liquid to be fully mixed, and the microorganisms, nutrients and oxygen are in good contact. Furthermore, it ensures that a sterile environment, to prevent noise interference. During fermentation, sensors monitor parameters and feed back to the control system for automatic adjustment. At the same time,the fermentation tank can withstand the pressure,meet the demand of special fermentation.The substrate is put into the fermenter,the microorganisms use its growth and metabolism to produce the product, and the product is obtained from the fermentation liquid after the fermentation is finished.

Aelt tanks are made of SS304 grade stainless steel. It offers the best properties for sanitary, food and beverage processing. For highly-corrosive environments, such as salty or acidic areas, tanks can be manufactured out of the higher-grade SS316L stainless steel. All stainless materials are purchased from first quality steel mills, their qualified MTC is supplied and Pretank would inspect again before put in our warehouse.

TIG welding are adopted to make stainless steel tanks. All welding and polishing workers are qualified and rookie trained well before they start to work in our company.

1. Basic Product Overview
White vinegar (alcohol vinegar / distilled alcohol vinegar) uses neutral edible distilled alcohol diluted with process water as raw material. It is a globally universal acidifying and preservative raw material for the food industry, featuring stable acidity and ultra-low impurities. It is suitable for seasonings, canned food, pickling, food compounding and other applications.
Vogelbusch delivers complete plant process design and full sets of special equipment, with a minimum starting capacity of 4,000 L/day, expandable to large-scale deep fermentation production lines with tens of thousands of liters daily.
2. Complete Technological Process (Official Standard Flow Diagram)
2.1 Nutrient Preparation Section
· Raw materials: Special compound nutrient Bremoferm, glucose, recirculated mature vinegar
· Function: Prepare nitrogen sources, carbon sources and trace elements required for the growth of acetic acid bacteria. The mixture is pumped into the mash blending tank to guarantee bacterial activity and conversion efficiency.
2.2 Mash Blending (Dosing Tank)
1. Neutral alcohol is diluted with process water, with the maximum alcohol content controlled at ≤15% vol;
2. Recirculated raw vinegar containing active acetic acid bacteria is mixed in, together with pre-prepared nutrients for full homogenization under stirring;
3. Dual-tank alternating operation: One tank completes 1–2 batches of centralized mash preparation weekly, while the other continuously feeds the fermentation tank to realize semi-continuous production.
2.3 Deep Acetic Fermentation (Core Process, Semi-Continuous Technology)
1. Core Patent: IP-8 Self-Aerating Ventilation System No external high-pressure fans are required.

The turbine self-sucks sterile air to form micron-sized air bubbles, delivering far higher oxygen dissolution efficiency than traditional vinegar-making equipment to support the aerobic oxidation reaction of acetic acid bacteria:
